The AC-PE works in conjunction with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and its seven sponsoring organizations to establish and maintain appropriate standards of quality for accredited educational programs in perfusion.  These standards are outlined in the Standards and Guidelines  for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in Perfusion (Standards), which  were approved in 2012.  CAAHEP policy requires the Standards to be reviewed at least every five (5) years.  The AC-PE has been working on a draft update/revision and would like your input!
